THURSDAY APRIL 17
  Pascagoula River - $45.00 includes box lunch. Limited to 20 participants

(8:00 AM Departure, 3:00 PM Return) Description: Boat trip highlights this unique river and the many bottomland hardwood species that call the river home, including Swallow-tailed Kites, Osprey, and Yellow-throated Warblers.  Herons, egrets and other wading birds will be observed along the river banks and sand bars, not to mention more than an occasional alligator.

  Dauphin Island - $25.00 includes lunch at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab

(8:00 AM Departure 3:00 PM Return) Description: Visit to this barrier island highlights land bird migrants, wading birds (herons, egrets, etc), and coastal waterbirds (terns, gulls, etc.). Chance to see alligators; hope for a fallout!.

SUNDAY APRIL 20

(Departure time 8:00 AM, return 3:00 PM) Description: Boat trip on this National Estuarine Research Reserve highlights marsh birds (rails, sparrows, etc), shorebirds (Wilson's Plovers, Ruddy Turnstones, etc.) and coastal waterbirds (Laughing Gulls as well as Caspian, Royal, Gull-billed, and Least Terns); alligators a possibility.

The Riverview Plaza Hotel, linked by skywalk to the convention center, will serve as our meeting's official hotel.

Other hotels are within an easy walk of the convention center.
